十力

Daśabala. The ten powers of Buddha, giving complete knowledge of:

(1) what is right or wrong in every condition;

(2) what is the karma of every being, past, present, and future;

(3) all stages of dhyāna liberation, and samādhi;

(4) the powers and faculties of all beings;

(5) the desires, or moral direction of every being;

(6) the actual　condition of every individual;

(7) the direction and consequence of all laws;

(8) all causes of mortality and of good and evil in their reality;

(9) the end of all beings and nirvāṇa;

指如來所具有的十種力用； 一、 知覺處非處智力， 即能知一切事物的道理和非道理的智力； 二、 知三世業報智力， 即能知一切眾生三世因果業報的智力； 三、 知諸禪解脫三昧智力， 即能知各種禪定及解脫三昧等的智力； 四、 知諸根勝劣智力， 即能知眾生根性的勝劣與得果大小的智力； 五、 知種種解智力， 即能知一切眾生種種知解的智力； 六、 知種種界智力， 即能普知眾生種種境界不同的智力； 七、 知一切至所道智力， 即能知一切眾生行道因果的智力； 八、 知天眼無礙智力， 即能以天眼見眾生生死及善惡業緣而無障礙的智力； 九、 知宿命無漏智力， 即知眾生宿命及知無漏涅槃的智力； 十、 知永斷習氣智力， 於一切妄惑餘氣， 永斷不生， 能如實知之的智力。
